Payment / Shipping SHIPPING: Shipping charges within Australia are $7.50 for orders upto $50, orders from $50.01 to $100.00 shipping is $10.00. If your order is over $100.01 it will be shipped FREE OF CHARGE within Australia. Overseas shipping - NEW ZEALAND $15 and the REST OF THE WORLD $25 Registered Post is available upon request for an additional charge of $2.70. If you wish to use this service please ensure that you enter registered post in the comments section when completing your order. We highly recommend that customers request postal insurance (registered post) to protect their order in transit. We take every care in packaging your order to ensure that you will receive your order safely. ScrapKat will not be held responsible for orders that are lost or damaged during transit.
PAYMENT OPTIONS All orders placed internationally must be paid by credit card. Acceptable methods of payment are: Credit Card - when going through check out take the secure online facility. Cheque/Money Order - When going through check out take the "mail cheque" option and send cheque payable to "ScrapKat" to 82 Wrights Road, Lithgow NSW 2790. Direct Deposit Bank details supplied on checkout. Once money shows in account products will be posted.
Credit cards are also accepted for pickups. NON PAYMENT OF ORDER Any orders that are placed and not paid for within 5 working days will be returned to stock. Please call if you are experiencing any difficulties and we can work out a layby system for you.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS Our stock is constantly being updated and every attempt is made to ensure all advertised items are in stock. Occasionally, however, due to a stock count error or a faulty item, we may not be able to supply the item purchased. At that time, we will give you the option of: A full refund on the item not available. A credit for the item not available, which can be used immediately or at a later date for other items in our store. Placing your purchase on backorder and waiting for new stock to arrive. We will contact you should this situation arise to make your preferred arrangements.
DELIVERY TERMS Your order will be processed within 1-2 working days of it being received if paying by credit card. If paying by cheque, it will be shipped to you after your cheque has been cleared to our bank account- generally 5 working days. If paying by direct bank transfer your order will be sent out as soon as your funds have cleared our account - usually next working day. Please allow an extra 2 days for processing during Sale Periods.
RETURN POLICY Any discrepancies in deliveries or damaged product must be notified within seven (7) days. Goods ordered in error can be returned at your cost and must be sent by Australia Post Receipted Delivery. Goods that arrive back to us in a damaged state will not be credited (It is up to you to pack the goods correctly). For goods incorrectly supplied by ScrapKat please notify us within seven (7) days of receiving the goods and we will advise at the time the method of return. On receipt of the goods in good order, they will be credited back to your Account.
